‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Official details on Cote de Pablo’s exit episode
For those of you “NCIS” fans, there has been clearly one episode that you are simultaneously looking forward to and dreading at the same time. As for its title, it is very simple: “Past, Present, Future.” It is the story that should sum up everything that Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David has gone through on the show, and what this character means to Tony.
Sadly, the jury is still out as to why Ziva is definitely leaving, or even what she is up to at the time that this episode (which is the second of season 11) first picks up following the finale. At least the official synopsis below gives you a greater sense as to what Ziva is currently up to:
“Determined to locate Ziva, Tony chases leads in Israel in search of her current whereabouts. Meanwhile, Gibbs and the team continue the hunt for Parsa and his growing terrorist ring.”
The story heading to Israel is a look back into what is the Ziva character’s origin story, which should be a nice little nugget for longtime fans of the show. What has also been confirmed already is that there will be a nice moment for “Tiva” fans to enjoy before she rides off into the sunset … or potentially leaves on a jet plane. The photo above definitely has us thinking about something that brings “Casablanca” to mind.
This photo and description come mere days after series boss Gary Glasberg wrote an open letter in which to try and explain Cote’s exit to fans, and also say that even after she is gone, there are still a number of other things worth looking forward to when it comes to the show.

So much wasted time, Oh Gary, you promised we would “get there”!
Tiva fans don’t want a mere single make out session after devoting eight years to our favorite duo. And what we most do NOT want to see is poor Ziva, who lost her family and became a US citizen and has nobody left in Israel, being forced to seperate from Tony (by your script writing) in a long-term return there. She could have been written out in a way that we fans were allowed to hope she found peace in her new homeland of America and did not give up her adopted family or country. WE especially pray you did not write her back into Mossad after all this character has been through. If you did that Gary, expect utter disgust and anger amoungst a huge fan base. So much so, we likely will be too hurt to return to see the exciting Hashtag discussions between Gibbs and McGee that you reference in your open letter!
