‘Survivor: Blood vs. Water’ spotlight: Rachel Foulger

Meet Rachel -Occasionally, there are times in which we feel like this “Survivor: Blood vs. Water” twist is going to end up dooming some people, mostly because we believe that some are going to get in trouble thanks to fear that they will make it to the merge with their loved one, especially if one of those people are a threat. When it comes to Rachel Foulger, this is our greatest concern given that we think she would be a great player were she not on here with her boyfriend. Heck, we could imagine her as a finalist in some other seasons that have aired.

Basic details – Rachel Foulger, 33 years old from Oren, Utah; here with boyfriend Tyson Apostol

Occupation – Cocktail waitress / graphic designer (unusual combination)

Strengths – Rachel is clearly the patient type to put up with Tyson. and dealing with a ton of big personalities is key to doing well at this game. She seems to be smart, in good shape, and is going to get along with everyone. Just when you hear her speak about the game, there are almost light-bulbs that go off about this being someone who is capable of doing really well. It’s almost an intangible thing sometimes, but she has nothing about herself personally that is an issue.

Weaknesses – The biggest one that she could have here is just getting on the wrong side of the alliance early. If some of the guys end up being intimidated by strong women, she could be in trouble early. Save for that, the only other issue is Tyson. These players are not idiots, and know that he is a huge physical threat that does not need the help of another ally.

Prediction – We think that Rachel goes right before the merge, though it makes us sad to say it since she brings a great bit of potential into the game. The irony here is that if she were to make it there, she would probably have a better shot at winning than Tyson, who comes across as cocky and wins so many challenges that nobody wants to keep him around.

Now that we’ve posted all of our thoughts on Rachel, be sure to share your take in the poll below. We are nearing the end of our list, and we will have our full prediction posted for the winner by early next week.
