‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Zoe, Wade, and the passage of time in first promo

Are you ready to re-enter the town of Bluebell yet again? Well, you’re going to get an opportunity to do just that come Monday, October 7, when “Hart of Dixie” season 3 returns on The CW with all-new episodes. Zoe Hart is going to be back in town, but it is not going to take her very long at all upon her arrival to quickly start to realize one thing: This is not the same Bluebell that she left in order to take in the lights of New York City.

For one, she is about to realize that neither one of the two guys that has actively pursued her heart in the past (in George and Wade) are going to continue to be interested in doing so now. George in particular seems somewhat interested in trying to forget that the past two years of his romantic life even happened (good luck with that). This is what happens when you are gone over the summer: People start to move on and lose much of their attachment to you that they may have originally had.

As for the other interesting highlight of the promo, it came via some clever camera techniques. Clearly, there is no plan to write Jaime King’s pregnancy into the show. There are some clever camera tricks mixed in here to disguise it, and we suspect that this is going to be the way in which they do it for most of the season is by having her sit down or hold things that cover up her bump.
