‘American Horror Story: Coven’ spoilers: ‘Magic City’s’ Danny Huston signs on as…

The latest -While this may be a pretty slow Sunday as far as major breaking news goes, we do have something to report today in terms of an “American Horror Story: Coven” update. Fresh off of his work on another cable series in “Magic City,” we know that Danny Huston has signed on to appear in some significant capacity later on in the season.

This news was first confirmed by executive producer Ryan Murphy, who posted on his Twitter account that the actor will be a love interest for Jessica Lange’s character of Fiona. The casting here is pretty brilliant, but with so many details out there still being unclear, it’s hard to really produce much of a reaction at all here … positive or otherwise.

What we can say about “American Horror Story: Coven” right now is as follows:

1. It will be set primarily in New Orleans, but could shift between some different settings.

2. Sarah Paulson will play the daughter of Lange’s character, and they are a part of a small clan of witches who are slowly and surely starting to disappear off of the face of the earth.

3. Some of the other guest stars for this season include the likes of Emma Roberts, girlfriend to series star Evan Peters, and also other award-winning actors.

What do you think about Huston’s casting, and the group overall that FX has assembled for the series just far? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below!
