‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4B spoilers: Janel Parrish on love interest for … Mona?

Yes, you did read that title correctly: One of the most frightening and occasionally-deadly characters from the “Pretty Little Liars” universe is going to have a new love interest.

So who is it? Well, we already gave that away, but it is still so shocking that it really is worth repeating: Mona. She has been “A,” terrorized the Liars, and been a major thorn in the side of pretty much everyone. So how can we suddenly expect someone to fall for her, and then trust her enough to be in a relationship? While Janel Parrish is not dishing any answers, the actress explained to E! News that it will be something that blows many fans away:

“Mona finally gets a love interest. I think she deserves one and it’s kind of a shocking one so I think fans will love it.”

As for the story on the second half of the season, Parrish teases that there is going to be a mountain of drama that unfolds following the reveal of Ezra as the next “A,” and it could be something that even impacts Mona to a certain degree:

“It’s just going to get crazier and crazier, as the pieces of the puzzle start coming together. ‘A’ is going to be even more of a mastermind than anybody ever imagined so yeah, it’s going to get crazier.”

The madness will start with the Halloween special, but expect this to be more of a standalone hour. Things are not going to be getting crazy until the winter half of the season picks up in January.
