‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: Expect something grand with Booth / Brennan wedding

As a diehard “Bones” fan, you’ve probably already heard the news that there is going to be the long-awaited wedding between Booth and Brennan happening at some point this season. You’ve waited almost a decade for this, and probably even debated with some other devoted lovers of the show as to how and when this was going to happen.

Of course, we’re not going to sit here and spell it all out for you … as that would make us probably the worst people ever for ruining what could be a beautiful moment. Executive producer Stephen Nathan does want you to know that this all-important moment is something that is going to be beautiful, and also something that will be more than just a flash in the pan and not worthy of the hype. Just take his comments in a new interview with TVLine as proof of that:

“We’ve been waiting over eight years for this and we really want to deliver the wedding that everybody hopes for. It’s our intention that when [viewers] get an invitation, it’s well worth wearing a clean suit and buying a nice gift.” 

The show is also going to waste no time at all trying to figure out, for Brennan’s sake at least. what happened with the botched wedding at the end of last season. Much of the first episode back will revolve around the story, though it is unclear if she is going to find out anytime soon that Pelant really is to blame for everything going south.
