‘NCIS’ season 11 notes: News from Michael Weatherly; Cote de Pablo talk (video)
We’ll start off this story on “NCIS” season 11 by simply focusing on a key question: What is going to happen in the season premiere? We know that Colin Hanks is back as Parsons, and that there is going to be a good bit of time and attention given to trying to move the story forward to where it was at the end of the season 10 finale.
But in terms of tone, you have something to look forward to … even if you are sad about the uncomfortable thought of Cote de Pablo leaving the show after just two episodes. Speaking to TVLine on the subject of just what you can expect from this episode, Michael Weatherly offered up the following tease:
“The way that we are jumping off into this new season is classic NCIS — and by that, I mean it’s about change and turmoil, everything being turned inside-out and upside -down … If you’re a casual viewer, if you’ve watched every single episode, or if you, like, watched one episode with your Uncle Morty, you’ll want to watch this premiere and the first few episodes, because this season does something it’s never done before, and that is interesting.”
While it’s clear that Weatherly is talking about Cote’s exit as one of the big changes, we’re not going to leave you completely hanging here on the Ziva front. While the video below via “Entertainment Tonight” does not necessarily answer anything that you don’t already know (and it for whatever reason chooses to tease something pertaining Ziva living past her first two episodes that has already been confirmed), it does serve as a nice road map to the early story of the season, and the sort of plot points to pay attention to.
“NCIS” season 11 premieres on Tuesday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, and we’re of course going to have plenty more in the way of scoop before then.

What a magnificent series. So sad that Cote de Pablo is leaving. I think the cast are fantastic actors. Especially Mark Harmon. I remember David McCallum when he was Iiya kuriakin can’t spell that. Think he’s great too
