‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Supernatural’ favorite to reportedly guest star
At this year’s VanCon event, there was more than just dish related to “Supernatural” present at the show. We also found out some more news about the future of “Hawaii Five-0.”
According to a post on Twitter via Winchester Bros, fan favorite DJ Qualls, who plays Garth on the CW series, is going to be stopping by “Hawaii Five-0” for a guest spot in the future, where he will play the part of some sort of a “crazy person.” This casting news is without a doubt welcome, given that there is only so much Garth that we have an opportunity to see on “Supernatural” in the first place. (Not only that, but his appearance on the show this season is not even confirmed yet.)
“Hawaii Five-0” is in the midst of a casting flurry, at least when you look at the full list of people that have already been announced to appear here. The likes of Terry O’Quinn, Jorge Garcia, Henry Ian Cusick, Melanie Griffith, and Nick Jonas are some of the more-recognizable names, and it is all done in an effort to try and keep the ratings steady moving into a pretty delicate timeslot on Friday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. This has been deadly for past CBS dramas, but this could be different for one major reason: The show’s audience was already hurt on Mondays thanks to another similar show in “Castle.”
Hopefully, this casting could give some members of the “Supernatural” family a reason to tune in, if only for just one week. They are certainly open to watching TV at this time, given that their favorite show did at one point air in this spot.

Actually FIve 0 and Castle were exchanging 1st place on Monday nights for years.
It was not until Revolution on NBC came along and changed the ratings for both shows, who then were left fighting for 2nd and 3rd place. Both Five 0 and Castle continued to switch places until the last part of the season. And even then Five 0 has coming back. The reason that Five 0 was moved to Fridays was that CBS had no place to put any new shows other than Monday night. Five 0 will be next to Blue Bloods. A show starring Tom Selleck of Magnum fame. A very nice pairing for folks who have great memories of both Hawaiian based shows,Magnum and the original Jack Lord /Five 0, Good luck Five 0!!!!
