‘Arrow’ season 2: Reflect with Emily Bett Rickards on Oliver / Felicity scene
Going into the first season of “Arrow,” who expected Felicity Smoak to be such a popular character? There are many differences already between her and the DC character of the same name, and the folks clamoring for her and Oliver to get together have almost become so loud, you can barely hear the Oliver / Laurel shippers. Maybe this just has something to do with wanting to root for the underdog, or what you do not expect to happen.
While there is going to be some potential romance coming up for Felicity this coming season, that is not what we are here to write about today. Instead, we’re here to discuss the video below from Emily Bett Rickards, who discussed how there was a certain scene from season 1 that she still looks back on with fond memories, even more so than many of the others that she filmed. In what should serve as as a surprise to no one, it involves the Felicity and Oliver characters as he realizes that she, and also his stepfather, have seen the infamous list.
In terms of some generic Felicity scoops on the next season, expect the geek of the “Arrow” universe to have created a more high-tech lair for the two and Diggle to call their home. Also, she will start to become more and more actively involved in missions, which could come almost organically given how much more than she is exposing herself to the world of crime-fighting. (This sort of thing will inevitably happen when you spend your time around these sort of people.)
