‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Fifth Harmony, Carly Rose Sonenclar, Emblem3 videos galore
Emblem3’s tour – Just in case you want to see what Emblem3 sounds like in concert while opening for Selena Gomez, we have a video below from Vancouver (though in admittedly low quality) that actually contains the “X Factor” group’s full set. Some of the songs included here are “Spaghetti,” “XO,” “Sunset Blvd.,” “Just for One Day,” and their big single “Chloe (You’re the One I Want).”
We give the guys some props for landing on such a big tour as Selena’s “Stars Dance,” and hopefully they are going to have an opportunity in the process to win over some fans. Being an opening act isn’t always easy given that some people are just impatiently waiting for the headliner, but we imagine that there is probably at least a little bit of crossover between the two followings here.
Carly’s turn – Speaking of concert videos, Carly Rose Sonenclar also shared recently a high-quality video of her “Stay” cover from her show last weekend at the Best Buy Theater, to go along with the one that she posted recently for original song “Fighters.” It’s a great cover of the Rihanna hit, and something that also shows even more of her own diversity given that she can sing uptempo and slow ballads, old standards (“Feelin’ Good”) or even modern hits.
Party with Fifth Harmony – While this is not a performance per se, it is still something fun to watch. These ladies from “The X Factor” hit the road around New York City recently on the Popdust party bus, and you get a sense of just some of what they get to do over the course of a day in the Big Apple. The best way to describe this video is simply “fun.”

It must be hard for Emblem3 to pick which songs to play during Stars Dance. Their whole album is full of great songs…plus all their older stuff. Anyway, please support them they are amazing and I want to hear more from them in the future sooo BUY their album Nothing to Lose right now (:

Wow….whoever was recording Emblem3 was shaking the camera soooo much -.- But at least I could hear them. They sound really good live. But why oh why did they pick Girl next door as one of their songs. I really REALLY don’t like it. Couldn’t they have picked Teenage Kings?
