‘True Blood’ season 6 finale spoilers: How does Joe Manganiello’s Alcide surprise Sookie?

For those of you wanting a ton of scoop about the upcoming “True Blood” finale on Sunday night, good luck with that. Thanks to the secretive nature of much of this episode, which is going to include everything from deaths to a major tease at the future for these characters, most of the previews that you are going to see come courtesy of one solitary event: The aftermath of Terry Bellefleur’s death. Not only did this event unite most of the Bon Temps faithful, but it will give some of the trapped Vamp Camp prisoners somewhere to be.

But we will have a little bit more on that soon. For now, just watch the video below for an opportunity to see another rare Sookie / Alcide scene. This funeral has given the two a reason to actually spend time together again for the first time all season, and we even have a chance to once again bear witness to the softer side of the werewolf.

Remember back to last season, when the two parties had that brief hookup? While they easily seemed to be enjoying one another’s company, a certain glamour job on the part of Eric Northman kept anything else from happening. While there are a contingent of fans out there interested in seeing whether she and Bill get back together in the end, Alcide has his fans hoping for him to be with Sookie as well. He is best used on the show when he is close to Anna Paquin’s character, and we hope this is a sign of great things to come for season 7.
