‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Carly Rose Sonenclar, Fifth Harmony, Emblem3 videos
Carly’s new original song – We are a couple of days late to the game on this one, but have you heard Carly Rose Sonenclar’s original song “Fighters” yet? The “X Factor” star performed the track for the first time live this weekend at her New York show at the Best Buy Theater, and it is a driving, anthemic song about never giving up.
When you combine this song with her other original song “Unforgettable,” this means that we’ve got a pair of strong new Carly tracks this summer to go along with all of the covers that she has released over the course of the year. Take a listen to it below; does this make you even more excited for a potential Carly album in the future?
Fifth Harmony in the Bing lounge – We’re not sure that Fifth Harmony even has recognition at this point of what city they are in all of the time, based on just how frequent their travels have been the past few weeks to promote their new single “Miss Movin’ On.” The track is currently on the upswing still on the pop charts, and is literally on the cusp of making it into that coveted “top 40” that you hear so many radio stations talking about.
The video below comes from the girl group’s appearance recently at the Bing lounge, where they performed some of their own music along with a cover of Cher Lloyd’s “Want U Back” mixed with “With Ur Love” that they have been performing as of late. (Video source.)
Emblem3’s performance – Finally, take a look at a great performance of “Sunset Blvd.” by Emblem3, who recent sat down with Billboard to both talk about their album “Nothing to Lose” and to showcase some of their music. These guys are at present the only act from the American version of the show with a top 10 Billboard debut for an album, and have plenty of reasons to be happy right now.

E3 And 5H are mediocre at best they will have short term success , while Carly will be around for generations as a singer/ song writer, Actress… the full package.
their really is no comparison talent wise, She is potentially the next Streisand and will go on to win Grammy’s . Tony’s and Oscars. I wish them all success but personally I think 5h is pretty much Talentless and E3 well they really stink.

“talentless”… LOL I don’t even know what to say to that so I’ll just laugh. If you really think 5H are talentless then… Like I said I’m speechless

They’re a gimmick like Emblem three. 5H won’t stay together because only one or two can actually carry a note. Those that can will seek their own careers. Tweens and bubblegum music never last!

I don’t care much about E3, but I wish them all the best. I like the
ladies of 5H. I think they are great singers. Is this enough for me
to buy their records? I’m not sure. I like when an artist writes
his own music. Carly does it. She is younger than all of them but she
is in control of her career much more than the E3 and 5H somehow, it
seems to me at this point. This is another thing about Carly that I
like. Let’s wait and see.

Emblem3 wrote all their own music before Xfactor you should check it out.. some of the best songs and singing I’ve ever heard. Plus they co wrote on a ton of their new album… just saying you should give them a chance. Also, #TeamInspire

5th and E3 are pure Cowell marketing, Carly is pure talent.

Fifth Harmony is pure talent too, watch any of their live performances on Youtube. They are headed for big things. Hopefully Carly is headed there too. What Carly potentially lacks is marketability – she’s an old soul, it remains to be seen whether kids her own age will actually buy into her and support her like they do Selena, Ariana etc. Fifth Harmony is a marketer’s dream – very pretty girls with big personalities!

She has diversity, exactly what’s needed to sell well. Relying solely on tweens is the recipe for a short career, and no one cares about a marketer’s dream. If the songs don’t resonate, then that’s all it will be, a dream. Only 2 things matter, the song (music buyer), and the ROI (labels).

The Xfactor – forget me, forget you. I don’t know what I was so into.
I won’t be watching this seasons Xfactor. Your judging sucks. The people with the most talent never win. So why bother watching or voting, it’s a waste of time.
