‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Cote de Pablo talks Ziva, Tony in curious video interview
Do you want a reason to think that Cote de Pablo’s exit from “NCIS” season 11 is even more shocking? Well, the video below should serve as evidence that while she may have considered leaving the show all summer, there were also moments where she was not willing to tip her hand.
Take, for example, the behind-the-scenes video below from her Latina cover shoot. This was obviously conducted prior to her and CBS making the announcement that she will not be back, as she spoke about the future of the show with great excitement, saying that she was hoping for “something fun” and exciting for herself and Michael Weatherly’s Tony. This interview does not mean that Cote was necessarily planning for sure to stay on the show, but that it was at least something that was very much on her mind for a while. We don’t want to dwell too much on the past, but the ultimate end of this story with CBS seems to be that there were negotiations, and she decided to walk away.
It also makes some more sense now that Cote’s first comments about leaving “NCIS” would come from this publication, given that they would have otherwise felt very silly about having an interview in which she talked about the future of the show, only to then announce that she was leaving it.
The new season of the show premieres on Tuesday, September 24, and in case you have yet to hear, Cote will be appearing in the first two episodes. A recent post from Weatherly suggested that the series has already filmed their final scenes with the actress, but she’s not being killed off. Therefore, there could be hope for one more appearance based mostly on what producers want to do.

Where in the video is there evidence she considered leaving THIS season?

Very possible that her statement about leaving in the printed interview was obtained AFTER the initial sit down, obtained from her AFTER the announcement. This is what is consistent with her BTS video. It’s a little curious that it was kind of “plugged” in there, isn’t it?

CBS what can I say but you BLEW IT. I love this whole cast & as Gibbs would say Family and you can’t replace family. She sure looked liked she wanted to stay to me. So please don’t say we offered her tons of money, Really. Blame shift.

It’s obviously clear that she didn’t plan on leaving at all. She looked super excited for Tiva scenes when she’s addressed how much she loves the two characters in the past. This video just proves that she never wanted to leave at all and only walked away when negotiations fell through. CBS, nice lie.

This video makes it even more clear that Cote did not intend to leave all along, as CBS claims. It was apparently filmed in June and, if anything, Cote seems to be looking forward to season 11 and does not seem like someone who has already decided to walk out the door.

Well, gee. Glad to finally see some evidence that “she wanted out all along” was a blatant lie to make CBS look like the good guys.
