‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: Official details from ‘Straw’ premiere
Earlier this summer, “Sons of Anarchy” executive producer / creator Kurt Sutter was kind enough to share the season 6 premiere title in “Straw.” Unfortunately, it’s not exactly easy to ascertain much in the way of details based on something like this. It’s completely obscure, and he may as well have named it “Air” if he was looking for something ambiguous and impossible to speculate over.
Luckily, we’ve seen from Sutter time and time again is that there is a great deal of thought that goes into what’s in a name, and we’re sure that this episode name isn’t random. (Otherwise, he would not have come up with such things last year as “Darthy” or “Crucifixed” as names for key episodes.)
While it may not be a tremendous amount of help for all of you episode-title analysts out there, we still find the official synopsis below from the hour to be a reasonable amount of help in telling us that Charlie Hunnam’s Jax is yet again going to find a way to push SAMCRO into deeper and darker territory:
“As Jax continues to push the club into more legitimate businesses he can’t escape the sins of SAMCRO’s past. Written by Kurt Sutter; directed by Paris Barclay.”
Sutter has already teased that one of the darkest and most devastating events to ever transpire during this show is going to take place during the premiere, and it is something that should lead to some interesting conversations for many weeks ahead. We always appreciate it when the showrunner pens the premiere and establishes the tone, and Barclay is hands-down one of the best TV directors in the business so this combination is going to bring us great things without a doubt.
If you want some more scoop, hopefully the trailer here can serve as somewhat of a guide for you. The new “Sons of Anarchy” season premieres on FX come Tuesday, September 10 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern / Pacific, and it will run beyond the typically hour-long window including commercials.

I think the title Straw was given that name because episode 1 of season 6 will be very hard to swallow when everything transpires.
