‘The Bachelorette’ finale spoilers: Brooks Forester, Desiree Hartsock, Drew Kenney cry

BrooksAt the tail end of Monday night’s “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All,” there was the moment that all (or at least most) of the show’s fans were eagerly awaiting: The opportunity to see what in the world was finally going to happen with this super-dramatic, two-part finale that we have hitting the airwaves in a week’s time. It as “unlike anything that we have ever seen,” and maybe the show is hoping to use this as a way to try and redeem everything that we’ve been forced to endure this season.

Of course, producers stuck this at the end because they wanted to make sure everyone actually watched until the end … and then we had the drama.

Everything starts off innocently enough, with beach frolicking and claims of “I love this man” and romance topped with romance on a romance sundae. Then, we had Desiree Hartsock saying that she wanted to go home, that everything was falling to pieces, and that she was more or less an idiot for believing in love.

So what causes this near-endless meltdown? These dastardly producers still aren’t showing us! However, the tease does make it seem like both Brooks Forester and Drew Kenney are potentially involved in it, at least given the amount of uncontrollable sobbing that is going on here. (Here’s a hint: It’s enough to fill up that ocean in the background on these “magnificent overnight dates.”)

The only other thing we find hilarious is that this is being billed as a two-part finale, even though we always have three contestants left with two episodes to go. Unless something crazy happens, this is just par for the course.
