‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5 spoilers: Julie Plec on future for Klaus, Caroline
On the surface, we could understand why you would feel a little bit worried about the future of Klaus and Caroline on “The Vampire Diaries.” The two were never really together in the first place, and to make matters worse, they also are now going to be on separate shows. “The Originals” is ready to rock and roll on production, and while Klaus wanders around New Orleans, Caroline is going to have plenty to do on her own.
While we have yet to get answers from the official Comic-Con panels for either show, we do have something now almost as good: Some details from Julie Plec at a different panel. While at the TV Guide Fan Favorites panel Friday afternoon, Plec said that the show intends to “follow through” with Klaus and Caroline, though this does not necessarily mean that something romantic is in the cards.
Joseph Morgan was also on this panel, but he did not solely talk about the show. Instead, he expressed his love for “The Walking Dead,” and it would be easy for him to appear on it, given that this show shoots in Atlanta along with his own. Both “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals” are close enough that it will be easy for the actors to jump from one show to the other, even if there are some difficulties in that the schedules will be jam-packed on all fronts.
Just remember one thing when it comes to Klaus: While he and Hayley are going to be potentially parents soon, that does not mean they will be getting together at all.
Are you hoping for all sorts of Klaus / Caroline goodness on “The Vampire Diaries” moving forward? If you want to check out some more scoop from the world of Comic-Con this year, be sure to head on over to the link here.
