‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 6 review: Ravenswood arrives; who was arrested?
Ever since earlier this spring, there has been a certain amount of excitement around seeing what this “Pretty Little Liars” spin-off series “Ravenswood” is going to be all about. While we do not know very much right now, we have at least figured out that this is an incredibly creepy place. That ceremony with the statue was, by far, the strangest moment that we’ve seen for quite a while on this show.
Basically, this place was where Spencer and Toby went to try and get information about the woman behind the infamous parrot, which has basically caused things to spiral out of control. The only real surprise here? Getting the opportunity to find out that Shana was also in the town, and may have gotten to their attempted target first. (Also, who knew that Shana was such a good violinist?)
What was also shocking about this entire ordeal with the town came after Spencer’s return, when at an open mic event at Emily’s coffee house, we saw the complete destruction of a certain d-bag’s car. While we don’t think this had anything to do with “A,” it’s still interesting and worth pointing out. Who is behind the damage? The easy culprit is Aria’s brother Mike, given that he did say that he wanted to make things up to her. But could it also be Ezra? The editing on the scene was somewhat strange.
It may seem odd that we’ve buried Ashley’s arrest until this point in the review, but to be honest this was something that was obvious several weeks ago. There just was not a way for her to get out of this, and while she may in the future, the walls are closing in on the Liars and their parents. Holbrook does not mess around as an officer, and both Hanna and Emily are in trouble.
