‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Desiree Hartsock meets Zak Waddell’s family band!

When Zak Waddell told his crazy story on “The Bachelorette” earlier this year about singing karaoke with an old woman every week, we admit to being at least a little bit cynical about it. Is this guy really doing something like this? After watching the video below, we actually believe that yes, he probably is.

Who knew that Zak had himself a little bit of a family band happening? It’s probably one of those things that is really cool to be a part of, but newcomers to the family don’t quite know what to make of it. This is at least the impression we get from the video below, where we have an opportunity to see the group perform a song in Desiree’s honor about how she makes Zak feel. It’s pretty sweet, and she at least smiles along with it.

While singing may not be everyone’s thing, it’s hard to imagine anyone not at least appreciating what this group brings to the table. They seem warm, gentle, loving, and also drama-free. They’re not going to be the sort of people who attack her about there being three other men still in her life. If Desiree picks Zak, she will have a guy that is fun and spontaneous, but she will just have to come to terms with the idea that he is also the king of the “will you accept these abs?” comment.
