‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3: Jennifer Morrison plays no favorites in Emma ‘ships’
For those of you wondering whether or not Jennifer Morrison wants to see her “Once Upon a Time” character of Emma Swan with one person or another, it doesn’t seem like it based on what the actress herself is saying now. While in Vancouver yesterday on a break from the show’s season 3 production, the actress held a brief Q&A session with fans on Twitter, and chose at one point to take on a question that we do routinely see come up time and time again: Who does she want to see her character end up with? Here’s her response:
“I have no control over the writing so I am excited to embrace any ‘ships’ they write for me!”
While there are also some fans out there who embrace the more unlikely pairings, the two that consistently seem to draw the most attention are Emma with Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and also Neal Cassady (Michael Raymond-James). Whether or not she ends up with one of these two guys remains to be seen, but the fact that she will be starting off season 3 on a boat with the two of them certainly serves as a nice way to stir up some trouble and add to the tension that started to simmer at times during season 2.
What do you think about Emma’s love life on “Once Upon a Time” these days, and is there any one character that you would prefer to see her with? As always, be sure to share some of your picks below, and you can also read some more news on the “Once Upon a Time” world by heading on over to the link here.
There is sadly no premiere date for the new “Once Upon a Time” season, but we will have more information when available.

LOL that Hook wouldn’t have betrayed Emma…of course he would have. Cora would have caught up to them eventually and he’d have betrayed Emma for Cora to save his own neck, without hesitating. Anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly ignoring Hook’s true character because they want with Emma. ‘Cos he has to be good and nice and boring to be with her.
He was perfectly willing to leave her to rot in a cell and then kill her. Yeah, he’s sooooo perfect for her. The idea that Emma could genuinely fall for him is laughable. But if the writers want to screw up their main character just to pander to a few noisy shippers and have her involved in a stupid love triangle, that’s up to them. I’m not surprised because they seem determined to destroy their own show. Hook and Emma is the absolute worst thing that could happen. Also it’s obvious to me that JMo prefers SwanFire…she seems to get on really well with MRJ and their chemistry comes through onscreen.

Who cares her and her ‘parents’ are the most boing and uninspiring of all the cast. Mainly because of them always getting separated one way or another.

Emma and Regina. They’ve saved each other time and again, and they’ve even made magic together twice (and we all know True Love is magic). As Eddy Kitsis said, “Regina and Emma want the same thing. They want love, and they want family, and they want home.” Who better to find that with than each other?

I think one of the most critical things to remember when you’re
comparing Hook and Emma with Hook and any other pairing is Hook’s
unwillingness to betray Emma. This is a stark contrast to his
interactions with Cora, Regina etc. While he said he thought he might
have had a connection to Regina (revenge driven, without people who
cared for them), he STILL went through with betraying her. That ‘connection’
(which Regina denied) wasn’t enough to stop him from giving her to Tamara
and Greg (or suggesting they leave her to die in the finale). With Emma, he
was very clear he would have never betrayed her. Hook should be with Emma

I’m totally for SwanFire I love Emma with Neal. Jennifer Morrison and Micheal Raymond-James have great chemistry together.

Emma and Hook for sure!!! There’s too much of a possibility there – the connection and so on… both who are such fighters and never giving up kind of ppl which both need in their life

How can she be on a boat with the two of them when there is only Hook on the boat and not Neal and I still believe that no matter what happens with Emma’s romances. I still believe that we might see August again and that is the person she is going to end up with.
