‘True Blood’ season 6, episode 5 preview: What comes next for Sookie and Warlow?

At the end of last week’s “True Blood” season 6 episode, Sookie Stackhouse came to what was a pretty clear revelation that the same guy that was in her house and trying to romance her was also the same man supposedly responsible for killing her parents. Warlow is Ben, and he is finally close to getting what he wants.

The problem? Well, it all comes in whether or not Sookie is actually going to find it within herself to pull the trigger on something that, quite frankly, really needs to be done if she wants to move forward with her life. In the sneak peek below from Sunday’s new episode (which has the clearly-inappropriate title of “F*** the Pain Away”), Sookie and Warlow engage in a brief conversation in which he defends himself, saying that he loves her as his intended, and that he has wandered the earth for thousands of years just waiting for her to arrive. Of course, the inevitable question that comes out of that is that if he truly cared about her, why take away the one thing that meant the most to her?

Well, this is where the sneak peek clip cuts off, and it also is probably where Ben actually offers up the information that Sookie really wants to know in the first place. If the answer to this is wrong, we will see the character die forever; however, if he plays his cards correctly, he could earn himself a temporary reprieve. Is Sookie going to actually trust this source of evil?
