‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5: Ian Somerhalder teases the TCA vote

Earlier today, the 2013 Teen Choice Awards announced their second wave of nominations, and they included the opportunity for such “Vampire Diaries” stars as Joseph Morgan, Candice Accola, and Steven R. McQueen to walk away with the famous (and rather large) surfboards. As an aside, where in the world do people actually put these things after they win them?

Anyways, the point of this article is to discuss how even with these new nominees out there, Ian Somerhalder is still in the process of hitting the campaign trail hard for some votes to come in his direction, just so he can add to the total of trophies that he already has (which is three). Writing in a message on his Instsgram page along with models for what the surfboards are going to look like this year, the actor, activist, and master of making you melt with his eyes had the following to say:

“Damon and I have 3 because you all rock-maybe 4 in a little while if you want:) Not sure when voting ends but I think it’s soon -Hopefully see you soon you bad-ass teens. Love, Damon Salvatore& Ian Somerhalder”

Do you want to vote for the awards this year? The first thing you have to do is make sure that you are a teen; then, just head over to the official site and enter all of your registration information. It’s pretty simple, and there are plenty of “Vampire Diaries” stars across the board for you to vote for, if they are your celebrities of choice.
