‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 gets a date for that inevitable Comic-Con panel
When you consider that Robert Kirkman is going to be celebrating ten years of “The Walking Dead” comic series at the San Diego Comic-Con next month, you know it’s going to be a big occasion.
According to Hypable, the season 4 panel for “The Walking Dead” is going to be held on Friday, July 19, and that is all that is really known right now. There’s still no word about who from the cast is going to be there, though we expect it to be a large percentage of the series regulars. Plus, we also assume that there will be some sort of new footage shown off, given that this has been done just about every year before.
There is one weird oddity, though, that we would like to point out when it comes to this show. Ever since coming on the air, AMC’s megahit has done three Comic-Con panels, and all three of them have been led by a different showrunner. Frank Darabont carried out some of his last official duties in the role at the event back in 2011, while Glen Mazzara handled it last year. This time around, it’s Scott M. Gimple who will try to convince the crowd that he is awesome and knows how to bring some of Kirkman’s ideas to life, while also bringing his own vision to it.
There is some more crazy-cool stuff coming up this season, and that’s the sort of stuff we’re waiting to sink our teeth into now. Want to know what Greg Nicotero has to say about directing the premiere? If so, just be sure to pay a visit over to the link here.
