‘Glee’ season 5 notes: Darren Criss’ performance, Lea Michele’s getaway
As for how Darren was involved, he kicked off the show with a performance of “Hall of Fame,” which is The Script’s hit that was covered by “Glee” at the end of season 4. His performance here was much more intimate, and then it build into something epic that involved a full choir. This performance was quite an honor for Darren, so here’s to hoping he got an opportunity to really enjoy it.
While Darren was getting this opportunity, Lea Michele merely decided to embark on a little bit of a weekend outing with some of her friends. In what is sure to be one of her few opportunities to relax the rest of the summer in between an album, a book deal, and filming starting back up, the actress posted a series of photos online featuring her and some of her real-life friends getting an opportunity to relax and take in a bit of sunshine. These days seem to be few and far between, but they also seem to be very much enjoyed.
Do you want to see some more highlights featuring Darren along with Chris Colfer? If so, we have the story for you over at the link here.

Hall of Fame was totally just a rip off of Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance”…
