‘Big Brother 15’ houseguest spotlight: McCrae Olson

McCraeBack when we first read about McCrae Olson’s inclusion into the “Big Brother 15” cast, we immediately pegged him and his job of “pizza delivery boy” to be the Erik “ice cream scooper” Reichenbach of the “Survivor” community. Now that we know more about him, we actually believe that even more so. They are both from similar parts of the country (McCrae from Minnesota, Erik from Michigan), they each love comics and drawing, and they have passion for these sorts of games.

Now will McCrae make a big impression, or get at least a better edit than Erik did on “Survivor Caramoan”? We certainly hope so, since right now like he’s kind of a boss, and one our favorite houseguests on this season.

Name – McCrae Olson

Age – 23

Location – Oak Grove, Minnesota

Job – Pizza delivery boy

Personality – Pretty outgoing, funny, but also laid-back. He’s the kind of guy who you probably would not want on your team if you were having to deliver a project in ten minutes’ time, but he is the sort of guy that could deliver something fantastic if you gave it to him a month in advance and allowed his imagination to run wild.

Strengths – He’s probably not going to be seen as a huge threat right away, given that he doesn’t look like a physical beast and should not make many waves in the house. This could allow him to make a few deals, and get himself into a position where he could do damage in the game for quite a long time.

Weaknesses – We don’t see a showmance happening for him, so if this is a season where a ton of people are hooking up, he could be on the outside looking in. We also question his challenge ability, and there’s even a part of us that questions his job. Early on in the game, some people may actually think he’s making up what he does for a living to hide something else, and by the time they figure it out it’s true, a pizza delivery boy winning “Big Brother” is the sort of story that scares people.

Early prediction – McCrae is not going to win, given that he’s just too likable a guy and no one’s going to bring the nice guy to the end, but we would be surprised if he is out before the jury, simply because there’s really no reason to get rid of him before then. We just hope that there’s a challenge somewhere in here where he has to shave off that crazy hair.
