‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5 notes: Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Torrey DeVitto
Just how far is the reach of the cast of “The Vampire Diaries” these days? We’ve had Ian Somerhalder in the United Kingdom, Paul Wesley and Nathaniel Buzolic among those in Brazil, Candice Accola in Los Angeles, and Nina Dobrev off jet-setting as of late in some unknown locations as she takes a last-minute vacation before the start of season 5 production next month in Atlanta.
Want some more details? We’re going to start things off with Paul’s wife and co-star Torrey DeVitto, who is in Brazil with Paul and who also has a new film now available on Video on Demand entitled “Evidence.” There’s also a connection here to another TV vampire in Stephen Moyer, who stars in the movie. Check out the full trailer below.
Paul and Torrey’s trip in Brazil seems to be in some ways twofold, as they are promoting the show at fan events while he also takes advantage of the opportunity to promote a jean brand. When you look at all of the mileage this guy has put on this summer, in between Eastern and Western Europe, the United States, and now South America, there has to be a serious case of jet lag somewhere in here.
As for Ian … Check out this message that the actor posted on his Instagram page talking about his experience shooting “The Anomaly” the last few weeks along with Luke Hemsworth and director Noel Clarke:
“Singing a bitter sweet Good bye to my character Harkin Langham &his lair on the set of @theanomalymovie Thank you everyone for this experience,@noelclarke you are the man and you need some rest-thank you Martin for making this amazing instrument that gets me through sleepless nights and thank you @colehaan for all of these comfy boots for me and my character to run around like a madman trying to save the world…”
