‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: About that hand in the earth…

There are so many different mysteries floating around out there within the “Pretty Little Liars” world, but we know that many are still questioning that hand that came out of the dirt earlier on in the show’s run. This is something that has driven fans up the wall, especially as they have sat around and watched some other mysteries be solved over time while that one still lingers.

So are there some much-desired answers ahead? It appears that way, at least based on what executive producer Oliver Goldstick had to say about this key scene in a chat with Entertainment Weekly:

“In essence, you revisit it all season because the question of Alison being alive was raised last season, but as far as that night of that hand coming out of the earth, that will be explained when we get to the end of 4A.”

This means that there will be an answer to this by the end of the summer, along with whether or not we are going to figure out the entire mystery surrounding Red Coat. Alison DiLaurentis has been a mystery since the start of the show, but the possibility that she could be alive really manages to take the tension up another notch. While we know that the easy theories to embrace here are that there is a twin, or something else from the books; however, Marlene King and the writers could be willing to shift slightly from the source material at this point.
