‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Jesse Williams tries to set road ahead
It seems as though almost every season on “Grey’s Anatomy” is a big one for one or two characters, but when it comes to season 9, Jesse Williams’ Dr. Jackson Avery clearly had one of the more active ones when it comes to developments. He went from a man still getting used to working as something more than a resident to someone responsible for running the newly-named Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital, and this meant giving orders to people who were once his superiors.
So what is coming up for Jackson next? Is there the same sort of big year coming up? While speaking in a new interview with CocoaFab, Williams made it clear that to him, one of the most-important stories moving forward has to deal with Cristina and Owen:
“It’s really all about how Christina and Owen end up, they’re actually finally done, maybe they’re finally done for good. For my character, I think you saw him handle things romantically, you saw him handle that professionally taking his work seriously being asked to be surgeon, taking the lead, standing up to his co-workers in a way that you haven’t seen before, telling them no, telling them he disagrees, taking surgeries, taking the lead against Arizona and some other people earning their respect.”
Are we sure that Jackson has a complicated love life still ahead? Definitely, and we know that there are plenty of people out there pulling for him and April to be the endgame. Just remember one word when it comes to this: Patience. Shonda Rhimes oftentimes likes to use a slow-and-steady approach before bringing beloved couples to a somewhat happier place (and then, she can bring them down again).
