‘Big Brother 15’ houseguest spotlight: Spencer Clawson
Just a matter of minutes ago, we started out our “Big Brother 15” houseguest spotlight series with a piece revolving around the confident (but also potentially naive) Nick Uhas. Now, we’re transitioning to an article all about a man who we think could be a darkhorse to go pretty far in this competition: Spencer Clawson. Every season does have their sort of archetypes, and he is the token “Southern guy” that we have had before on the show. But while Lane from season 12 may be an easy comparison, we do think that there are quite a few differences here between the two.
If you want to share you take on Spencer this season, vote in the poll below! Also, check out either the sidebar to the right or the link here to see some more updates from the feeds.
Name – Spencer Clawson
Age – 31
Location – Conway, Arkansas
Job – Railroad conductor
Personality traits -Relaxed, down to earth, and hard-working. He’s the sort of nose-to-the-grindstone dude that you expect to see in one of those “this is America” commercials set to the patriotic music. He seems fiercely loyal, and may have more street-smarts than anyone else in the game.
Strengths – He’s probably not going to be seen as a threat early on, given that he’s not going to rub anyone the wrong way. He’s from a different part of the country than most, and should be able to charm them with his laid-back demeanor, and some stories of what we think is a pretty interesting job compared to just “bartender.”
Weaknesses – Spencer seems to be worried about being a slob, but he is going to work on keeping it at bay. We also think that he could have little tolerance for whiners or divas, given that this is not what he’s used to. Also, his favorite player is … Enzo? Seriously?
Early prediction – We think that Spencer could go pretty far this season. We’re not going to pick a winner until we watch all the videos, but what we’re impressed by is that he has a great head on his shoulders about this experience and isn’t going to rush into doing anything stupid. If he gets with an alliance he can go far, and he seems capable of winning competitions.
