Well, there you have it: The cast of “Downton Abbey” is nice about almost everything, including people who spoof their own work in order to draw a few laughs. Imitation is the best form of flattery, and rapper Diddy recently took advantage of this with an extended parody of the show that started off with him trying to give people the impression that he had been cast on the show.
As you may have heard already, much of the ITV series’ cast and crew were present in North Hollywood recently for an event entitled “An Evening With ‘Downton Abbey’,” which is where many of them spilled some assorted details about the upcoming story, and what some fans can expect. When it comes to some of the actors interviews with On the Red Carpet, Diddy’s spoof was one of the hot topics.
In the video below, you can actually see the likes of Michelle Dockery (Mary), Rob James-Collier (Thomas), and many others express their admiration for the rapper with his video, and not being afraid to have some fun at their expense. It may in some ways be a relief for the stars to actually be asked such questions, mostly because it is one of the few examples of someone not just out to pry scoop from them before them clam up and run in the other direction.
