‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 spoilers: A trio of new, possibly-in-danger faces
Whenever you see some new guest stars coming on board a show, it’s typical a “meh” sort of situation, given that you know that there is a pretty vast world out there beyond the handful of series regulars. However, it’s a little bit different for “The Walking Dead.” Why? Think of it this way: It’s a reminder that not everyone out there is a flesh-eating zombie … at least for now.
The following three characters, per SpoilerTV, are currently being cast for the fourth season of AMC’s network-destroying drama, with the first two ladies in particular set for possible recurring roles that last several episodes (pending that they don’t get eaten / aren’t terrible in their roles).
1. Melody – A described tough, funny woman. Sadly, we immediately think of that “Little Mermaid” direct-to-DVD movie whenever we hear her name.
2. Laura – A former nurse and a single mom. Possible help when everyone starts dying.
3. Don – Billed right now just as a guest star, he is a grandfather who is occasionally grumpy. If you were a senior citizen having to put up with not getting a recliner to sit on to complain about murder mystery shows, you’d probably be grumpy, too.
You’ll see these characters beginning with “Rise,” currently billed as the sixth episode of the season. This will probably air around late November, just in case you need to celebrate your Thanksgiving festivities with human legs being devoured rather than turkey ones. (You’re welcome for that imagery!)
Want more “Walking Dead” scoop? We don’t blame you, which is why we have the article here that is all about series star Andrew Lincoln, and the debate about why many foreign-born actors have become so mind-numbingly awesome at playing American characters.
