‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: Charlie Hunnam talks Jax’s status in SAMCRO

During a few moments on “Sons of Anarchy” over the years, Jax Teller has had opportunities to try to get out of Charming and start anew; however, rather than jumping at the chance, he has instead firmly kept himself in Charming for a variety of reasons. Now that he is at the head of the table for SAMCRO, it really does not seem like there is any other option for him other than to stay and fight things out within this organization.

For more on this, just turn to the man himself in Charlie Hunnam. Speaking to TVLine on the subject of whether or not Jax will be able to leave the motorcycle club and live some sort of normal life, the actor was not entirely hopeful for him:

“I think at this point he realizes that he’s in it for life … Last season was a real process of him embracing that and throwing himself into it with both feet, to cement the fact that he’s a lifer.”

So if Jax is stuck in SAMCRO, does this mean that his world is going to fall apart even more than it already has? It sure seems like it, mostly based on the recent claims from Kurt Sutter that this will be the show’s most violent season yet. When you consider the ways in which that Jax has managed to get his hands dirty over the years, it’s pretty hard to imagine him having much of a happy ending. Plus, so many of his enemies are still alive, including some (Wendy) who can hurt him emotionally.
