NBC’s ‘The Voice’ results: Did Michelle Chamuel, Amber Carrington make finale?
Leading into Tuesday night’s “The Voice” results show, there were some assumptions that we made based on just the iTunes sales alone: We were sure to see both Danielle Bradbery and the Swon Brothers (of Team Blake Shelton) in the finale, it was looking like it would be a two-person race between Amber Carrington and Michelle Chamuel as to who would join them.
We expected these two ultimately to be the final two artists standing in the episode as Carson Daly made the announcement, but things did not quite work out that way. Instead, Michelle was actually the first artist to be declared “safe” on the night, which allowed her to breath a pretty heavy sigh of relief.
Following that, we had the reveal of the second finalist declared safe: Danielle. Shocked? Probably not. She’s still the runaway favorite to win this based on iTunes sales alone, and Blake Shelton does have that enormous fan base that votes for him at every possible opportunity.
It took a while for us to get to the third finalist, thanks largely to a series of other performances, interviews, pre-taped packages, and the same sort of fluff that you would expect from a results show that really did not have that many results to hand down. In the end, Carson announced that the last finalist for this season was … the Swon Brothers! It’s sad somewhat since it’s another Blake-dominated finale, but it will be interesting to see if the anti-country voters gang up.
So basically, next week’s finale is rather interesting. It’s the second-straight one without Adam Levine having a contestant there to root for, and Shakira is also empty-handed in her first stint as coach.

I hope the producers come up with some way to rework the show, so it is not a country hoedown next season!!!

With 2 country acts making it to the finals I think the question is not will “the anti-country voters gang up”, but will the country vote be split (between the Swons and Danielle) allowing Michelle to sail through to the win. That’s the scenario I’m hoping for.

You are so limited on the appreciation of music.. It is not about the genre of the music. It is about the true talent of the performer
