‘True Blood’ season 6 trailer: Stephen Moyer’s Bill shows off his new power
When you become a vampire god, there is apparently one specific benefit that comes with it: That pesky rule involving being let in to various places apparently no longer applies.
In the latest clip trailer for “True Blood” season 6, Sookie Stackhouse finds out the hard way that Bill Compton can now enter her property pretty much at any moment that he wants. Having Lilith’s blood in his veins has turned him into a very different sort of beast, and we’re insanely curious already to see what happens. If “Billith’s” new philosophy is to go along with the thinking that humans are just food and nothing else, is he going to try and eat Sookie? The opportunity will certainly be there for him to do so!
On a different note, it looks like everything else the HBO drama is offering this season is more of the same. Jason Stackhouse is going to impulsively go after someone with a gun, Sheriff Andy is going to do a marginally good job upholding the law, and a bunch of various people will take off their clothes. (We’re not entirely sure at the moment that Alcide is ever going to put his shirt on this season.) Sookie has in particular taken a more feminist approach to her love life, and we hope that she stresses her independence in the same exact way that she did for much of season 5 (when she chose “neither” between Bill and Eric).
