‘Big Brother 15’ spoilers: When something substantial this way comes

Since we are inching very close to what we gloriously like to refer to as “Big Brother” season (and a much longer one than usual, mind you), we figured that this would be as good of a time as any to start to subtly lift the veil on some of the events that you can look forward to seeing soon.

The first one is that Monday’s media day. This is where all of the major outlets have an opportunity to see the house, find out a few new details about the season, and start prepping their media coverage. Note that this does not mean you will see everything under the sun tomorrow. Many things (including photos) will be under embargo for a while, as CBS likes to scale out all of their unveils as we get closer and closer to June 26. Nonetheless, there will probably be at least a few new details of what to expect that make it out to the public.

The real week to watch out for begins on Sunday, June 16. This is when we expect CBS to unveil the full cast, some of the major twists, and also air many of the first commercials featuring some of the houseguests you are actually going to see. If there are returning players (which seems somewhat unlikely based on what we’ve heard), they will probably still remain secret in an effort to get people to watch the premiere. We originally suspected that the contestant reveal would happen earlier in the week, but it’s now looking like it will happen probably near the start of the weekend. (We would be stunned if the 24th rolls around and you don’t know the newbies.)

We’ve heard all sorts of bizarre rumors thus far, including everything from three nominees, teams, and even “Survivor” players, but it’s hard to believe any of them given there’s no substantial push behind one or another. Therefore, we have nothing to endorse yet.
