‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: Brandi Glanville searching for missing dog
We write quite a few cynical stories about various forms of “The Real Housewives” franchise, but as a dog owner this story makes us pretty sad. Following a break-in at her home, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville has been unable to locate her beloved dog Chica (a brown chihuahua) ever since.
This devastating news has led to Brandi (who was away with a few of her co-stars in Palm Springs at the time of the incident) to post a series of messages on Twitter begging anyone who finds the pooch to call the number listed, and she is offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who has managed to find her dog. Thus far, there have not been any takers, and to make matters worse, she has managed to receive a number of people prank-calling her pretending to have the dog for the sake of attention. Pretty sad, really.
Hopefully, someone will turn up with some information on the animal’s whereabouts, and she can go about with trying to move forward with filming without this sort of stress on her. What these sort of stories tend to show is the good and the bad of social media. There have been a number of celebrities who have used Twitter and other social-networking sites in the past to locate missing pets (with some success), but the problem in doing so is that you do often have to sift through a heavy layer of garbage before eventually getting to anything real.
We’ll have more news on this sad story as it breaks, but for now feel free to share your thoughts with a comment below. If you want to read even more news in regards to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” you can do so over at the link here.
