‘Burn Notice’ season 7 spoilers: What to expect from premiere
On Thursday night, “Burn Notice” will be back on USA for what is effectively going to mark the beginning of the end. It’s been a crazy, action-packed journey, but all good (and explosive) things must come to an end eventually.
As to how this USA drama will do so, we have a few key words for you to remember: Explosions and exposition. These will be the primary themes of Thursday night’s premiere. We’re not going to give anything away when it comes to the story, but based on what we have heard so far, this episode does an excellent job at the following:
1. Introducing a new potential villain, one played by former “Heroes” star Adrian Pasdar. He’s a little bit different than the sort of people Michael Westen has fought over the years, mostly in that he’s a little bit more complicated.
2. Giving a greater sense as to how Michael comes back into contact with the members of his former team, who he has not seen in months ever since sacrificing himself in return for keeping them safe and out of the reach of the government.
3. Setting the stage for the rest of the season. We cannot say that this is the most-shocking episode of the series, but it does a tremendous job of setting up events that will be coming in the ones ahead.
Be back on the site in a matter of hours, as we will have much more in regards to Thursday’s “Burn Notice” premiere, including a full review of everything that transpires.
