NBC’s ‘The Voice’ iTunes results: Michelle Chamuel tops Danielle Bradbery in sales
Before we get to the results show for “The Voice” airing Tuesday night, we have to share what is the biggest news coming out now in our weekly look at the iTunes sales charts, and it’s not particularly good for anyone who loves Holly Tucker.
After weeks of Blake Shelton’s team dominating the sales charts, it almost seems like a given that the Baylor marching band member will be the first person eliminated from his group tonight. Neither of her performances placed her anywhere near the top, and she was quite frankly overshadowed by all of the other country singers on a night that was really all about the genre. (Heck, even Michelle Chamuel and Sasha Allen got into the game with a country songs of their own.)
Speaking of Michelle, her cover of “I Knew You Were Trouble” easily made the top 10 this week, giving her that 10x multiplier that Carson Daly hypes up on a near-constant basis. This is the top-selling song of the season save for maybe “Heads Carolina, Tails California” from Danielle Bradbery, who is still going strong as of this writing with two songs in the top 25. These two seem to be on a collision course for the finale, with the only thing stopping them being a complete and utter disaster.
All of the other remaining contestants save for Holly have at least one song in the top 40, which is in general pretty outstanding. Unless someone gets virtually zero votes online, this sort of discrepancy should easily be enough to propel them into the next round.
Stay tuned: We’ll have the full results listed later on in the night. If you want to see what we feel to be the top performance of the entire show last night, all you have to do is click here.

Danielle is a darling little angel who has a very nice voice and Sasha is a huge talent as well. But Michelle is the sparkling diamond in the rough (she actually made a Taylor Swift song tolerable!). Michelle is dynamic, emotional, and DIFFERENT! Thank God for something that sounds different and wonderful. The others are all very talented but also somewhat mainstream, generic and ultimately, forgettable. Michelle has bored a hole in the hearts of many people with her humility, passion, humanity and intensity. In the process, she has become UNFORGETTABLE!
