‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Is a major theme coming?
So far, producers have done a very good job at keeping almost everything related to “Glee” season 5 completely and totally secret. When you consider just how many ways in which there are to leak information these days (we are looking at you Twitter), it is rather remarkable that everything has stayed under wraps for as long as it has.
With that in mind, what we are bringing you today is not even confirmed yet, it is merely a rumor, but a very interesting one. According to a report from TVLine, the first two episodes that you end up seeing on Fox next season are going to have some sort of commonality or a theme to them. Does this involve a musical tribute? A major event? Finn and Rachel (hopefully) running into each others’ arms?
The only guarantees that we can make at this point are that the world involving the New Directions will once again be front and center following the group’s win at Regionals, and we should learn more in regards to Rachel’s “Funny Girl” audition. As for Heather Morris’ character of Brittany, we personally view it as pretty unlikely that she’ll be back unless producers find some sort of extremely clever way to hide her pregnancy. (Regardless if they can, we know that she will be gone for most of the fall and even a certain part of the spring.)
Expect to see “Glee” return to Fox with new episodes around the middle of September, where it will return as a part of a lineup that includes “The X Factor.”
What is your thinking about this possible theme? Any theories? Be sure to share your thoughts below! Also, take a look at the story here to see what Matthew Morrison has to say about his own hopes for an upcoming guest star.
