‘The X Factor’ USA: Demi Lovato talks ‘missing’ Britney Spears, new additions
Demi Lovato is currently in the United Kingdom preparing for her performance this week on “Britain’s Got Talent,” and with that, she is getting an opportunity to do a little bit of press on her own.
One such example of that comes courtesy of a new interview with Digital Spy, where she had an opportunity to open up a little bit about her experiences last year on “The X Factor” USA. She, Britney Spears, and L.A. Reid did develop some sort of relationship while the season was progressing, so with that in mind, it is easy for her to sit here and admit now that she does very much miss having the two parties around for the auditions this summer:
“I do miss [Britney and LA]. We spent a lot of time together and we’d formed those bonds, but it’s a new chapter now and I’m excited to start a new experience with new people.”
Demi also had some nice things to say about Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland, who are the two new additions to the show:
“Kelly is so much fun to work with – she’s got a great energy about her and we connect really well. It was just an instant, off-the-bat kind of thing. Paulina is doing great as well – she’s really, really huge in South America and I’m glad the show is representing that side of things more.”
While Demi has not exactly had a ton of time to spend with either one of the new ladies, there has at least been a couple of days of auditions already from Charleston, South Carolina. There are going to be even more big moments in the months ahead, as Simon Cowell, Demi, and the rest of the group take to other parts of America looking for great talent.
Do you think that there is any way you are going to miss the old judges this season? For more “X Factor” news, including the brand-new music video from a certain boy band named Emblem3, all you have to do is visit the story over at the link here.
