‘Downton Abbey’ season 4 spoilers: Tom Cullen talks new role, working with cast
Want to know more about Tom Cullen? You get a chance to do so below, even though there are still not many details available about his character moving forward into “Downton Abbey” season 4 this fall.
The chat here is with Red Carpet News TV (via Downton Abbey Addicts) and it features the actor speaking out in somewhat-vague detail about his preparation in order to play Lord Anthony Gillingham, one of the new potential suitors for Michelle Dockery’s character of Mary. Of course, there are no actual spoilers thrown in here pertaining to what happens, but he sounds supremely excited to join the show and its extensive cast of characters.
If you are worried about Mary falling into some sort of relationship before she is ready, don’t be. Dockery has already said that her character is going to follow in the British “keep calm and carry on” tradition, and it will be a while before she really lets her guard down and considers settling into life with another man.
There is still no firm premiere date for the return of the series to ITV, though PBS has already announced that you will see more of the show during the first week of January. In other words, let’s hope that you are of the patient sort if you are a diehard fan in America who prefers to wait until it airs here.
Are you excited to see what Cullen brings to the series, even if so much of his character is shrouded in mystery? If you want to read some more news via Allen Leech about the season, all you have to do is click here. Of course, we’ll have even more stories as they become available.
