‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: Kyle Richards takes inspiration from Angelina Jolie
Be as cynical as you may be about “The Real Housewives” from time to time, we’re glad to see that one of Bravo’s famous ladies is choosing to now use their platform for good, and to share a message of how she was inspired to be tested for possible breast cancer following the story of Angelina Jolie undergoing a double mastectomy.
In a post on her Twitter account, Kyle Richards of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” explained recently how she is planning for her future by facing her fears, thanks to a very public piece Jolie wrote about her own decisions in the New York Times:
“I lost my Mom to Breast cancer & am embarrassed to admit that I’ve been too scared to get tested … I feel differently today #AngelinaJolie.”
While there is no evidence to suggest that Kyle is going to so far as to get a series of painful procedures done as a precaution to lower her chances later on in life, getting checked out is a very positive thing to do, and also something that women all around the world should certainly do.
Now, back to sillier stuff, which we’re sure is what most of you watch “The Real Housewives” for. Season 4 of the Beverly Hills version of the show should premiere later this year, and it will be interesting to see who Kyle and the other women get into shouting matches with this time around.
