‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Laurel’s new career path
Did you like seeing Laurel at the law firm throughout the first season of “Arrow”? Well, prepare to be disappointed then, since the character is going to be taking on an entirely different sort of career path on the show’s second season. Will it be putting on a very specific outfit to sing like a canary? Well probably not yet, given that there is still some evolution left for the character, but it will still be exciting, and give her something else to do beyond just fight with her father and constantly take the moral high road on every little thing.

“Because her building has been destroyed, Laurel is looking for a new job and she will not be returning to CNRI next year … She’ll have a new job and a new mission and I’ll leave it to people to speculate for the next three months as to what that mission could be.”
Could it be tied in some way to her father, whose job is also a little bit ambiguous at the moment? It’s possible, but she is still in the dark when it comes to Oliver Queen’s secret, even if she is tied to him romantically. The question that we have to ask now is whether or not that will really last, given that he decided to finally make the move to be with now that Malcolm Merlyn out of the picture. Following Tommy’s death, the mission may be different.
