‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Carly Rose Sonenclar, Fifth Harmony, Emblem3
With all of the sudden news related to “The X Factor” breaking when it comes to both the American and the British versions of the show, now really felt like the best time out there to revisit what some of the most-recent contestants from the U.S. show are up to. Luckily, there’s some pretty big news to share in here.
Fifth Harmony covers – Let’s start off with the news that the ladies of Fifth Harmony have spent some time lately performing a few of their recent cover tracks with some media outlets in what is their latest attempt to keep themselves in the news prior to them releasing some original music. We still think that this is the smartest strategy that any act at this point can take, since you need to do something to keep fans excited, and then do it consistently. YouTube is a valuable tool like that.
The video below is a cover of the Taylor Swift hit “Red,” which the ladies have done before, but not in this form. Check out the video below via Idolator.
Emblem3’s new video has a date – For those of you eagerly awaiting to find out when Emblem3 will be lifting the veil off their “Chloe (You’re the One I Want)” video, we have some big news for you now. A date is now official! In a post on the group’s own YouTube page, they confirmed that you will have an opportunity to catch the song in all its glory beginning on May 28 on Vevo.
Carly’s thank-you – Finally, we have a video from Carly Rose Sonenclar, but this one is more of a “thanks” to her fans for getting her to the 500,000 like plateau on Facebook than premiering any new music.
If you want more news on “The X Factor’s” new season in America, including which judges managed to pick up raises at the end of the day, don’t worry: We have that for you here.
