‘The Glades’ season 4 spoilers: The first promo and more

Summer TV is almost here, and you know what that means: Footage is pouring in for some of your favorite shows! “The Glades,” arguably the show that helped set A&E on the path that they are now on with “Longmire” and “Bates Motel,” is going to be back on beginning Memorial Day at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. Not only that, but we have your first-look promo below! Expect a little bit of everything you love. Romance? Check. Bizarre cases? You got it. Weather that looks so muggy that your glasses would fog? It’s a sure thing. There’s also a moment in here that brings to mind “Magic Mike,” which we’re sure quite a few fans are going to appreciate.

To go along with this promo, we also have a few assorted details about the first three episodes that you’re going to see on your screen. None of these synopses are entirely revealing, but isn’t it better to know a little something than nothing at all? We like to think so.

Episode 4×01, “Yankee Dan” – Jim investigates a 150-year-old ghost story when an heiress is found dead in a haunted plantation house.

Episode 4×02, “Shot Girls” – “Jim ventures into the cutthroat world of liquor promotion to investigate the killing of a rum brand’s spokesmodel.”

Episode 4×03, “Killer Barbecue” – “Jim investigates when the owner of a barbecue empire is killed; Daniel takes on his brother in a cooking competition.”

Considering how many mystery shows we watch regularly, we’re at least pleased to see that the cases here appear to be somewhat different than what is already out there.
