‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Jenna Ushkowitz on future for Tina
There is not a single word of official intel out there on “Glee” season 5 just yet, with one of the major reasons for that simply being that executive producer Ryan Murphy has given zero interviews, and there is also not a single script written as of this writing.
However, the natural trajectory of the show does yield itself to some obvious scenarios. We are going to see what happens with Rachel and “Funny Girl,” the Ryder – catfishing storyline will have some sort of natural conclusion, and we are going to ultimately learn who ends up graduating from the school. You just may have to wait until November to see the latter happen.
So will the likes of Tina, Artie, and Blaine receive some sort of grand ceremony completely with pompous music? We don’t know the answer to that just yet, but Jenna Ushkowitz makes it very clear to Entertainment Weekly that she is excited to see just where the story goes from here:
“I’m not sure if they’ll be a huge ceremony like last year, but I think that’ll be interesting to see where she is going to go to college, if she’s going to go to college, what she’s going to pursue.”
With every bit of “Glee” scoop you see, remember this: There will be a massive shift of sorts that happens around the midway point of season 5, where the focus shifts from what is going on at McKinley presumably to what is going on at another part of the world (possibly New York). It would simply be far too much to bear to keep giving Marley and company their due while focusing on everyone else that has graduated already. So if Tina wants to be focused on heavily, she’ll probably either need to be in the Big Apple, or in a story that is tied somewhat to the setting.
Speaking of some “Glee” characters that have already graduated, you can check out some scoop about the future of Santana over at the link here. Dive in!
