‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Will Webber survive?
Take a deep breath. You’ve had a little bit of time now to digest and process Thursday night’s “Grey’s Anatomy” season finale, and now we are just left with wondering where in the world Shonda Rhimes wants to go from here.
Even before the episode aired, the showrunner promised that the fate of at least one of her characters was left in the balance. To be frank, she wasn’t kidding. Webber’s electrocution sets up a scary and dangerous position for the start of season 10, and one that we cannot be sure he will survive for a number of reasons. For one, the character is older, and it’s harder for someone older to survive versus a younger person. Two, Rhimes has clearly showed that she is not afraid of killing someone in a season premiere. Just as Eric Dane, who probably is now happy that she did given that he has his new pilot “The Last Ship” airing on TNT next summer.
Rhimes is not speaking out one way or another on Webber’s future, but his fate should be revealed in the premiere this fall.
There’s one other question to consider when talking about the “will Webber survive?” debate: Whether or not “Grey’s Anatomy” season 10 will be the end. The contracts are going to be up for Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, and many other leads, and it would be extremely expensive to bring them all back. Plus, we’re of the personal belief that while we never want to see a hard-working crew out of a job, ten seasons is the perfect length for a show like this to go on.
If you didn’t get a chance to share your reaction to Arizona’s infidelity, the Cristina / Owen breakup, or any of the other devastating events from last night, don’t worry: We have it covered for you here.

PS: Would it be possible to put the framed :post-it back on the bedroom wall in the new house? These two need it! Of course not now that the new baby is here, Bailey which seems appropriate, Zola and Mer/Der seem to be in the “moonlight and roses” part of their life. Think about it Shonda. Rosie

To: ABC, Rhonda, Dempsey, Pompeo, and the rest of the cast……the show must go on past 10 seasons. Your fans including me have all seasons in our libraries, have spoken to friends who have them as well and cannot imagine a Thursday night without Grey’s. It is exciting, loving, makes me want to scream and pull my hair out when things don’t go like I want them to. Shonda you and your writers are wonderful for the most part. You are a powerful woman and can pull this off past S10. Please don’t let us down. Oh and by the way, get Webber back on his feet as he is the Don of this program. Dempsey and Pompeo are well worth the money they make. They still make time to have other interests and keep their mates in real life happy….or not. Callie is taking a low blow and Kepner is scattered but interesting. Make me happy please…..I want to see Mer/Der thrive in their new home with their growing family and even a visit from the sisters and his Mom would be sweet. I have two neighbors who could not seem to have children. After they adopted both families had their own. Go figure. It happens. Thank you. Rosie

The thing about the word spoiler in the title, warns you not to read it. So if you didn’t want to know how the episode ended, you shouldn’t of read it. pretty simple to me.

Even if you put the word spoiler in the title – but then PUT THE SPOILER IN THE TITLE – you’ve still spoiled it. Idiot. I googled greys anatomy in order to catch up on last nights episode and the first thing to pop up is your spoiler to the final, and as someone who wasn’t able to watch the finale last night along with many others, including the millions of followers in other countries, you have just ruined a massive spoiler to the show. Well done.
