‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: The production journey begins
Ever since “Sons of Anarchy” season 5 wrapped up late last year, you’ve been waiting (at least if you’re reading this article) for the metaphorical engine of your mind to be revved up again. The truth is, there will be serious action, betrayal, new faces, and more coming up in the episodes ahead, and we’re becoming closer than ever to production actually starting to blow by at a steady pace.
In a post on his Twitter account, executive producer Kurt Sutter confirmed that today, the cast had their reading of the premiere episode (which he wrote personally), and director Paris Barclay is getting set to start the filming process. This should be great news for “Sons of Anarchy” fans not just because it means that we’re a step closer to the show actually getting back on FX, but it also means that we’re a step closer to getting some more scoop and behind-the-scenes features straight from the cast and the producers. There’s no show out there that’s better at keeping you informed, while at the same time amazingly keeping you in the dark about everything in the story that matters.
All we can tell you right now is that season 6 picks up with Jax Teller struggling to pick up the pieces of his life: Tara was arrested just when she was trying to escape from this world, the pressure of being at the head of the table is caving in, and there is a new sort of threat on the loose in Lee Toric that is completely different than any foe he has squared off against thus far.
Oh, and there is also some season 6 casting scoop out there already … including this news about a “Deadwood” alum, in the event that you haven’t seen it already.
