NBC’s ‘The Voice’ results: Did Vedo, Kris Thomas, Garrett Gardner make top 10?
If you recall, we reported prior to Tuesday night’s “The Voice” results show that we were most-likely going to see Vedo and Kris Thomas leave the competition. Neither one of them performed well when it comes to the iTunes sales charts, and at this point in the competition, the people who seem to have little shot at going far are probably going to be cast away rather unceremoniously.
In watching this show, it was rather clear from this standpoint that “The Voice” needs a great deal of work when it comes to these results shows. It dragged on and on for most of the hour, with us only finding out a few results within the entirety of the first half-hour.
As the votes started to chip away, it was apparent almost immediately that we were going to be at least half-wrong in our predictions. Kris was declared safe early on, and the final four to take in a sigh were Sasha Allen, Vedo, Holly Tucker, and Garrett Gardner. From this list, it was pretty apparent to us what was going to happen. Sasha has performed well despite an off night, while Holly is consistently strong and has the Blake Shelton voice. Garrett and Vedo, it’s best to just say goodbye now.
With just a few short seconds to go until the show dropped the curtain (which is really cutting it close, don’t you think?), the news came out that America saved Holly, and also Sasha Allen. This means that the Garrett – Vedo end did come to pass, but the two have quite a bit to be happy about.
Do you wish that “The Voice” narrowed this down to only an hour in length, or just folded it into the results like what “Dancing with the Stars” is doing next season? You can read even more news pertaining to the show over here!
