ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2 finale spoilers: Katie Lowes reflects, looks to season 3

Are you ready for the “Scandal” season 2 finale to arrive? If so, we can already guarantee for you that you are far from the only one. This is a show that has broken the broadcast model for what a series can be these days. One that premieres great, and then just has to beg for viewers stick with it week after week. The viewership has increased here almost every week, and with the bizarre power relationship between Olivia and Fitz, this is tapping into a sort of emotional existence that few other things on TV have as of late.

While the actress did not give too much away in regards to individual plot points in a chat on “HuffPost Live,” she did discuss the evolution of her role since the beginning of the show, the crazy Huckleberry Quinn storyline that has taken the two in very interesting places, and how next season, she would like to continue to see Quinn show off even more sass and energy.

It must be a luxury for any TV star to say “next season,” since you already have the confidence as well as the knowledge that you are coming back for more. “Scandal” season 3 was renewed late last week, but the writers have been hard at work for some time with the oh-so-obvious certainty that this show will keep going just like there’s a new “Call of Duty” game every year.
