‘Game of Thrones’ season 3, episode 7 review: Did Jaime Lannister become Brienne’s hero?
On tonight’s episode of “Game of Thrones” season 3 it was really all about Jaime Lannister and Brienne and we couldn’t have been happier about it. We are so crazy in love with these two that it’s not even funny… and with that we will dive right into it.
Jon Snow: Jon and Ygritte’s relationship is solidified now that he saved her life, but their relationship with man that cut her and Jon loose while they were climbing the wall is another story. He tells Jon that as comfortable as he is in his romance with Ygritte, that he will never keep her long term. Why does he feel this way? Really it’s because he loves her too. Jon tells her the truth about the 6 times Ygritte’s side has tried to attack the wall and every time they have failed hoping to convince her to come away with him to Winterfell, but she refuses.
Robb Stark: He has met with all of Walter Frey’s demands, but there is still unease around the camp – as there should be considering that Robb’s idea is desperate and bound to end in tragedy. As muddled as Robb’s mind has been, everything becomes clear to him when his wife tells him that she is pregnant and he couldn’t be happier.
Tyrion and Sansa: The wedding is weighing heavily on everyone and it is tearing his relationship with Shae apart. He tries to offer her a life as his mistress, someone he will take care of (including any children they may have.) She is obviously hurt and wants more from him.
Joffrey: He has heard about Daenerys and her dragons and is worried not only about her, but that his counsel isn’t telling him what’s going on. Tywin tells him not to worry.
Daenerys: She decides to try and take over another slaver city (one she really doesn’t need to conquer in her quest for the throne) and when she meets with the lord, he offers her gold and ships where in return she will leave him and his slaves alone. She counters his offer saying that she will give him his life and in return he will set all of his slaves free.
Theon – What in the world is going on here? Theon’s story is indeed among the more frustrating: We don’t know what to expect via the books, and this whole “torment the guy” routine is getting a tad old.
Jaime and Brienne: Before he leaves, Jaime tells Brienne that he owes her a debt and promises to return the Stark girls to their mother. After leaving, Jaime realizes that Brienne is in real trouble, so he asks to be returned to Harrenhal to get Brienne, but he finds her in a pit, fighting a bear with a wooden sword. Jaime jumps into the pit to help her and they both end up finding a “friend” who helps maim the bear and get them out of the pit.
What did you think of tonight’s episode of “Game of Thrones”? Do you think Joffery going to make things worse by becoming involved with the counsel? Are you hoping that Tyrion will get out of his obligation with Sansa and marry Shae instead? Leave us a comment and tell us what you hope to see in the next episode.

If you dont know whats going on via the books (concering Theon) then I recommend reading them again thoroughly. It is very clear whats going on, but the torture-thingy was driven a bit over the top by the makers of the series…

Talisa saying she was pregnant was biggest thing i took from episode as someone who’s read all books and figured Jeyne was prego but long story. This was a huge surprise to say the least… especially bc Mr. Martin wrote episode.
